Beginning Blacksmithing at Old West Forge-White Salmon, WA

In this 3 day class we will study tool and tong making and forge a project that includes mortise and tenon joints, hot collars and scrolls. We will get it hot and hit it hard!
Old West Forge is located 70 miles east of Portland in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge region near the base of Mt. Adams. In our rural Klickitat County setting, students ma absorb the beauty of these natural surroundings as they pursue this old world craft.
