Class offered by Bill Pieh Resource for Metalwork

Fold Forming exploits the natural elastic qualities of metal to create unique three-dimensional forms using simple hand tools. In this introductory class you will work in copper doing lots of light hammering and annealing. You will learn basic line folds, 2 different forged line folds, a T-fold w/variations, and for the adventurous, time permitting; a star fold.

It is possible to have some finished items at end of session, but the goal is to learn the process.

April is a patient instructor who stresses good design principals, innovation and
experimentation in her teaching.

Maximum of 10 students.
