Want to learn how to create an animal head out of metal? Join us this fall at the Summit Complex at the Cascaida Center for Arts and Crafts in Government Camp, Oregon.

Instructor: Darryl Nelson
Darryl Nelson is the owner of the Meridian Forge in Eatonville, Washington. Darryl has over 30 years of blacksmithing experience. He is a member of the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America (ABANA) and has been a demonstrator for over 20 years. He is a founding member and former president of Northwest Blacksmiths Association. Darryl’s work may also be seen at the Mountain Gallery located in The Mount Hood Cultural Center & Museum.

Class is $280 per person for two days, limited to 6 people

Government Camp, OR | Cascadia Center for Arts & Crafts Blacksmithing Studio

All Tools are provided (bring your favorite Hand Hammer).

All students are required to bring their own gloves and ear & eye protection. Cotton is the best all-around material to wear, synthetic materials are not recommended because they melt easily & some may burn rapidly when exposed to flame.
