New Schedule for Our First NWBA Clubhouse Demonstration and Open Forge
January 26, 2013, 9 AM – 5 PM
Cowlitz Expo Center, Longview, WA
In consideration of providing a full day in the fire for our membership, the demonstration has been moved to the start of the program and the NWBA board meeting has been re-scheduled for the afternoon. Previously the board meeting was scheduled for the morning, but that ate up too big a part of the day intended for demonstration and open forge. The meeting is now at 3 PM; any NWBA member who wishes to attend the board meeting can, and if it is possible for the meeting to take place in another room at the Expo Center, the forging can continue during the board meeting time (this is still undetermined).
Currently, the schedule is as follows:
January 26, 2012, 9 AM – 5 PM
Cowlitz Expo Center, Longview, WA
8:00 a.m. Building Opens
9:00 a.m. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
9:30 a.m. Demonstration begins: Darryl Nelson
“Finials, or What to do when you get to the end”
12:30 p.m. LUNCH and Open Forge begins
3:00 p.m. Board meeting
If the board can meet in a different building the open forge can continue into the later afternoon.
We hope you can make it to our first Clubhouse event on January 26th, 2013.
