NWBA Clubhouse Demonstration and Open Forge
March 23, 2013, 9 AM – 5 PM
Cowlitz Expo Center, Longview, WA
9:00 a.m. Demonstration begins
12:30 p.m. LUNCH and Open Forge begins
Demonstrator: Terry Carson: making S-hooks, bottle opener, and forks.
There will be 5-6 hands on stations, bring your favorite hammer and any other tools you like to work with, and dress in layers for warmth (there is heat, but the door is usually open).
The first and second clubhouse events were very successful, over 120 members at the first event (demonstrator Darryl Nelson) and over 70 at the second (demonstrator Dean Mook). And, there were quite a few new members welcomed into the NWBA those days as well. This has turned into an amazing opportunity for the NWBA and its members, your ongoing participation will make sure the monthly events continue into the coming years.
