We will utilize many metalsmithing processes to create one-of-a-kind cylindrical pressure fit containers. Covering sawing, filing, soldering, surface treatments, cold connections, and patinas, this workshop will combine many basic techniques to construct and decorate a utilitarian, yet aesthetically pleasing, object. Surface embellishment will allow students to customize their containers in myriad ways.
