Tongs and the ability to make them are crucial to the craft of smithing. We will make a variety of tongs for different shapes and applications, and discover the simple, straightforward and amazingly efficient techniques to make fully functioning, sturdy and good-looking tools. All items made in this class are yours to take home. This class requires some experience, such as any other class previously taken at Bridgetown Forge. The fee is $360, which covers all materials and safety equipment. The class is limited to 8 students.
