My son is a rock hound and needed a small rock hammer to put in his rucksack for high mtn forays.....Me being me I used an old 1/2lb ball peen to recycle into the desired shape.......The eye was a tad small meaning the handle would break if he pried with it and so break the handle,,,,,,,Lucky for me I had a small stash of tiwood.........It's 10.5 x 6''

Nice work. The hammer head looks like an old style calvary horseshoeing hammer. Did you shape it to that style?

I shaped the ball into a square so as to extend it.....Btw the handle is made of 3/4'' titanium bar forged with a wood texture (ti-wood)...hehe. The small hole would only allow for a very light handle that would likely be broken if the tool was used to pry, no way that's gonna happen now....Cool.....The thing weighs 20oz......
