Well times are tough and they are a changing... Many of you know I have a contract to sharpen breaker bits/jack hammer steel and do quite a little bit of it and I am hoping to find someone to take over this work. As it stands now my plan is to downsize dramatically and move back into my home shop... I cant do this work out of there and If I cant find someone to do it for them they are going to be in a world of hurt. If you had a home shop you could do it out of reasonably it would be a great gig. I get paid by the each ranging from $2 to $25 a tool depending on what it is. In the winter its slowest and I do $700-$1000 a week and in the summer/fall its much more and it averages about $1500 a week but I have had weeks as high as $2200.. Its not technical or difficult work but you need a fair sized hammer (I use a Nazel 3B) and the only way for it to be profitable is in a Induction forge. If you need some or all of the equipment I'll sell you any part of it you want... If you have the capability and just want the work im not asking for anything other than you making a commitment to do it. You need to be fairly close to Auburn, at least in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area.. You need a forklift and and maybe 1000 sf for all the machinery and storage.... Full disclosure they did have a hard time paying me last winter and they got a couple of months behind... Since then I have not had any issues though and been paid once a week.... If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.. Your more than welcome to talk to the folks who you would actually be doing the work for and I can put you in touch if your serious...

Whatever you are, be a good one.
