The nephew of a friend is interested in blacksmithing. Lives in Bellingham. Are there any events scheduled up that way in the next few months? Thanks!

I don't believe there is anything scheduled in the next few months. All events and classes that we are notified of are posted in the calendar, accessible from the button at the top of the page. Perhaps someone in the area will open their shop for a visit...where are you located?

Nothing I know of. The calendar gets sparse this time of the year. Paul Thorne "may" have a class sometime in the next few months. He is likely the closest to Bellingham.

The Spring Conference is in Longview, WA. That isn't close to your friend, but he has time to plan if he is interested. What is his interest and experience?

I will past that along, Thanks Jeff-
He is totally new to smithing. No tools or experiance, comes with only interest at this point.
