I've heard there will be some covered camping and some open. There wiill be some hook-ups available too. Numbers and particulars remain unknown. You might try contacting the Conf. Coordinators, Dean Mook or Bill Apple, for specific information. More details should be included in the forthcoming Hot Iron News.

What can I say - I'm a NW native. I've been rained on before. [Image Can Not Be Found]
I camp several times a year rain in a tent, if I have a choice, l'll pick a dry area. One of my other hobbies is, Civil War reenacting and living history.
Now lets talk about umbrellas being used by people calling themselves Oregonians!

For the procrastinistas, Grant's word, you missed the on line registration. You can attend the Spring Conference. On-site registration is available when you get there. A few Tee shirts and Auction Dinner tickets will be available while they last. Don't procrastinate any long. Pack your kit now.
See you there.

Well, I am coming down mid day on Friday, and, if I cant get a dinner ticket, I will just sit outside and eat Fritos and drink beer and make obnoxious comments.
You know what LBJ said, when asked why he didnt fire J Edgar Hoover- "better to have him inside the tent pissing out, rather than outside the tent pissing in".

I'd like to reserve a dinner ticket now if'n it's possible, got my T-shirt and did the online registration, but only lined up a farm-sitter today. If I miss out, I'll be joining you, Mr Reis(well, maybe not the 'pissing in' part). What's your favorite beer?
as always

From your location Google maps says Longview 158 mi. Stevenson 155 miles. Mt. Vernon 344 miles. Gas is $3.79 today, so to Longview vs Stevenson is about the cost of a cup of coffee....unless you take the scenic route. Save the coffee money for the difference in gas and I'll buy you a cup when you get there. Hate to see a good man miss the conference because of the cost of a cup-O-joe![Image Can Not Be Found]
I'll take you up on that cup-O-joe!!! Be really fun to meet ya!!

Lynn, I don't look like the avatar photo anymore.. I'm easy to spot though, Gray hair and whiskers, Hickery shirt, doublefront pants. Bit of ballast in the front for stability at the anvil. NWBA hat. Safety glasses.
Hope you like BLACKSMITH's COFFEE. Coal Black, Industrial Strong. Will it float an anvil? You Bet!
Jeff
