I have to bid on my vacation dates for next year in 60 days....

This is good news, I didn't make the Fall Conference this year because no one seemed to know when our conference was going to be until much too late this year. I'm glad that we have a better date for next years conference in the Fall.
That being said, do we happen to know when and where the Spring Conference is going to be held? It'd be nice to know for planning purposes as well. Thanks in advance for any information.

The Spring Conference information is posted on our Home Page under the heading Blacksmithing News and Events, in the article "Save the Date! 2013", published on 10/08/2012 and is scheduled for April 19 - 21, 2013, at the Cowlitz Conference Center, Longview, Washington. See the article for more information.
Please note that this article also mentions our exciting new monthly hammer-ins that will begin on January 26, 2013 at that same location in Longview.

My giant apologies to you and all. The conference in the spring is the 4th weekend in April, which is April 26 - 28, 2013.
I apologize like crazy that you got the wrong information today. Please, to confirm, April 26-28, 2013!

Thanks for the information, I will make the appropriate notes on my Calendar! We will try and make sure that we make the Spring conference and will be making the Fall conference for sure! Thanks again for clearing up the dates for the Spring Conference. Much appreciated! :happy:

Just to clarify that I made a mistake on the dates for Spring Conference 2013.
The dates for the conference are: April 26-28, 2013 in Longview, WA.

There is a website for all the latest information on the Western States Blacksmith Conference, Mt. Hood Oregon.

This site will be updated regularly with the latest information and will have online registration soon.
Western States Conference 2013 dates are Thursday August 22nd through Sunday August 25th, 2013.

Our http://www.westernstatesconference.com website has contact information for reserving chalets, cabins and hotels so you can make this a true family event. There are multi bed rooms up at Timberline Lodge, if you really want to experience Mt Hood.
The NWBA is planning on offering bunks beds in the Cascade Ski Lodge again. You will have to reserve a bunk when you do your preregistration. The cost will be $20 a night. There are nice bathrooms and showers in the building, and you are right by the main tent.
