I am not on the official committee for this event, so I don't have all the details. I know that they have been hoping to have someone do blacksmithing demos for the last couple of years. I'm pretty sure it could be a money-making opportunity by selling things that you made or make there.

greetings Charles, you are right on target with an early request for a blacksmith demo in Belingham. Please continue your quest. Find out the information and other specifics. Requests like yours are what will spur our directors into resurrecting our outreach committee. This is a most important function of our association as it speeds interest and lets the public in general know about our existance. Please contact a board member and request that the outreach committee be revitalized. I also have a like request. I was contacted by tourism Cowlitz county about forming a Blacksmithing demonstration for the Castle Rock to Mt. saint Helens area for the second week in June 2014. Anybody interested? Get ahold of me ,I will continue to promote this option.
