Hi Folks,
New here and to the Blacksmiths art. Just in the process of setting up, and have just bought the hand crank blower in the photos. Would someone be able to help direct me to a manual, or parts diagram so that I can take it apart and service it?(clean, oil etc etc)
This company was the Canadian subsidiary of Buffalo Forge, and so the blowers are probably the same?

Hey Trooper:
Shouldn't be a problem... I have no info on manuals etc., however, just disassemble, clean and oil everything, and put it back together... If you think you might make a mistake on reassembly, simply take photos as you disassemble...

be careful on the bolts, obviously use wd-40 etc. Also check the fan blades are straight and complete (not broken off). Be cautious when you take gearing apart, check the teeth, if all good lube, reassemble and BLOW on some Coal!
Good Luck,
- DONK
(PS I had to rebuild 2 of these last year. One required some pretty cool brazing to repair a compound gear tooth on a old Buffalo forge at Sherman's Iron Ranch. That one took 4 hours Plus!)
