Hi I am hoping someone will recognize this forge and possibly have some info on it, or at least be able to advise me on standard operating procedure? I bought it off of Craigslist, and figured I would be able to learn all I needed from the internet, but I couldn't find any info in my searches. Anyway, the company that made it is defunked.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to blacksmithing, and am excited to get started on my first project.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

I don't know if you got the last post about this bench forge that I entered a while back, what with this change and all. I think your new tool is a heater for copper soldering irons it is obviously low pressure natural gas fired .it has no Venturi ,it has no regulator.it appears to be a low temp heater. I doubt if you will get the heat out of it to forge steel.use caution the era of this tool is when asbestos was used as a construction material. HAVE IT TESTED! Also, the twin valve supply is for a primary fuel and pilot fuel set up.hook it up to natural gas and experiment........tell us what happens.

Dan, I think I see a low pressure air inlet throttled by a gate valve and a gas feed line controled by a ball valve. It could be for NG and it could be for LPG. We might be able to tell more if you could post a photo of the plumbing under the forge and the interior.
Where are you located? Maybe there is someone in you area who could help you out. I personally like to be able to touch the stuff I'm trying to figure out.

Greetings Jeff ,
after reading your post, I agree . This bench forge looks like the furnace the sheetmetel workers were using to heat copper soldering irons in the shop that I was an apprentice in .......but that was 50years ago. It would be nice to see inside and under .. Isn't that a tee inthe center under...then splits both ways to the burners above?........
