Now I know what you're thinking... "Why should I be a board member? I got no skillz for that." Or maybe you're thinking "there are far better candidates for the board than me..."

I thought the same thing. So did Rashelle Hams. So did Lynn Gledhill. So did MOST of the folk who have served on the board over the last three and a half decades.

It doesn't matter if your a hobbyist or a pro. It doesn't matter if you've been a member for thirty years or three years.

What matters is that SOMEBODY needs to drive this bus, metaphorically speaking. We've got manuals that tell us how to do it. We've got the rest of the board to help you out & bounce ideas around. But we need YOU.

So please open your Hot Iron News & look at the list of board members, or click here. Send an e-mail or a snail mail. Give a phone call. Throw a rock. (Okay, maybe throwing a rock is not the best idea.) Let us know you're willing to help out by serving on the board.

SOMEBODY has to do it. And YOU ARE SOMEBODY!
