I'd like to visit some local smithy and watch you work - maybe bang a little iron - shoot the breeze, etc.
Are you up for that? Post here or send me a private message. I'm in SE King County but I get around and would visit anywhere in the Puget Sound Region.

Tom,
You'd be welcome at my shop, though I can't say I'm any more accomplished than you, maybe quite a bit less.
I currently have a small charcoal forge and I may be adding a propane forge to my shop in the very near future, so we could definitely bang on some metal. 😀
Regards,
Tim
