Hi Everyone,

I'm posting this looking for a decent anvil near me that hopefully won't break the bank. I've been blacksmithing for a few months now and am really enjoying it. The one setback I've kept running into is my current anvil surface, an axehead mounted in a stump. Great to learn on but not super practical. I hunted around for a piece of railroad track but those can be pretty tough to find. I've also looked online but every anvil is either a cast iron hunk'o'junk or a 200 pound antique peter wright. I'm looking for somewhere in the middle, ideally around 100 pounds so it will last and $150-300. Nearby Prosser Wa or at least in the Yakima valley would be great as well.

Thanks,

Alex Smile
