My name is jason, I live in concrete, washington, and i am looking for a
local blacksmith who might be able to help me with a small project that
i'm working on. can you refer me to anyone in the upper skagit that may
be able to help?
in case it's helpful to have some information about the project itself...
basically, i want to cut the heads off of 2 railroad spikes and turn them
to a sharp point of about 20 degrees, and then heat them in a forge and
bend them both to 90 degrees. these spikes will then be used as head- and
tail-stocks for a bow-lathe that i'm building.
any help or advice will be very much appreciated!
thanks for your time and consideration!
contact me at ghostmetropolis@riseup.net
sincerely,
jason
