Good Day to All

A few of you already know me, for those that don't, I'm a blacksmith from Virginia. I'm attending the Northwest School of Boat Building this year. I'll be here in the Northwest for at least a year and hope to get around to the events.  Sadly, my truck is scheduled for the shop on the 24th of Oct, so I don't know I'll be able to get down for this month's mentoring center event

Hello Gerald ,

i am a few miles south of you at port Ludlow.  I have a small hobby forge . If you would like to get in coal or just visit some time when you are not wood boat building ,give a call and stop by.

Hi Gerald,

Welcome to the NWBA. Hope you get around to some of the events and see some of the sights. Let us know if you'll be heading down to the Fort Vancouver area and we can try to show you around.

Enjoy you're stay up here,

Rashelle

Sorry for the late reply, I'm still working on getting reliable internet.

Bruce, thank you for the offer, I'll be taking you up on it.  I've found space to set up my forge and anvil, but it would be nice to hang out with someone :-)

Not going to make today, the truck needs a new intake manifold, (suppose to arrive and get installed Tuesday) but I'll be at the learning center for Mark Aspery's demo on the 8th of Nov.

Thanks for the kind offer, Rashelle

You're welcome Gerald. Funny thing on the timing. Mark Aspery comes up here for the same days as I'm heading to California. I'm hoping they get a second class set up for the spring. (Which is the time period I may be heading back down to Cali. again. But I'll watch for the dates up here first if I can.) Should be good either way.
