A couple weeks ago I asked my Grandparents to check out an ad selling a chop saw, anvils and box of "metal-ergical" tools in the little town they live in.
They went there and picked some tools up and said it wasn't much, just a little saw, small anvils and a few pairs of tongs. No need to reimburse them, they'll just make it my Christmas gift.
Sweet, how nice of them!
Imagine my surprise when we get to their house and see all of this laying out for me.

When making tongs, if you are right handed, you forge them by turning them left, left and left again,
If you are left handed, then you turn them right, right and right again.
This is the natural way to make them, and they feel more comfortable in use
In the pics 5 and 6, there are five pairs right handed and three pairs left handed
The left hand ones are the 3 on the right hand side in picture 5, and the top 3 in picture 6
Happy New Year to you all, and may it be better than the last one
