Looking to find the lower half of a bridgeport or equal size milling machine, DO NOT need the upper half IE motor and head and chuck and all that, just the back and lower base and the table and stuff. any chance of finding one? I have something in mind that involves the x-y-z table and heavy mass of the base. Does not need to be tight, clean or rust free, just needs to move in the x-y-z That's it.

Not unusual to find Series I and II Bridgeport CNCs for scrap. The mechanical parts are usually fine, it's the old controller that give out. These have ball screws too, very nice.
