Larry and I have been talking about trying to construct a small puddling furnace to make wrought iron the way it was done in the 1800's.

We're hoping to make a run in the next few months and then repeat it at the spring conference. Little does Larry know that I just committed us to do a demo at the fall "Western States Conference".:bounce:

Hey Larry! Now you know!

but then there are others who, with the help of their art and their intelligence,
transform a yellow spot into the sun.” ~ Pablo Picasso ~

It'll be a hoot! Never get anywhere if ya don't commit to things before ya know if you can do them, right? Beats the hell out of "when I get around to it"!

I too would like an update on this venture.
God I love forging real wrought iron..amazing stuff.
I am sure I am preaching to the choir but man does that stuff feel nice under the hammer.
