This is my shop. My dad and I have been working on it for the last 10-15 years. Most of the materials used were rescued from various construction sites. Many foremen didn't want to see those 7' long 2 x 6's go in the dumpster and would pile them up or even throw them in our shop truck!
It was built on an old basement home foundation poured by my great uncle.
Ain't much to look at, but it keeps the rain off my head 😉

Very cool indeed. Many here would love to have such for their shop. Pretty neat you guys could do that with recycled stuff. Must be in the country, no building inspectors, eh?

Wiring? The code for electrical wiring exlcudes "cord and plug appliances.":devil: So no code violation there! Not unless one looks in a whole 'nother book, anyway.
Looks like you've got decent lighting in there. I think a lot of us have shops that are too dark.
