i dont know if you guys will even consider it a true workshop. its 10x10 and is mainly a woodshop. space is so tight i have to keep my welder in a bedroom closet in my house

it has no electricity so i use extension cords to power my machines and i use a solar panel kit to light the shed

anyways here's some pics:

I like the look of that old bandsaw. What model year is it?

Nice job. [Image Can Not Be Found]

I have a vintage Craftsman table saw that is the same color. Mine's a '56 model. The curves give it a sort of art-deco look like your bandsaw.

I haven't done a restoration yet but it still runs and cuts like a champ. But I think I'm going to turn it into a side grinder. I have another table saw anyway.

I have a small shop also but still get a lot of work done out there. All we need is a love of the trade. Don

Yep....I work in a small space as well, a 10x12 'Tuff Shed'. My anvil and coal forge are set up on an adjacent 8X12 patch of dirt. I'm currently gathering building materials to put a roof over the forge, to get out of the weather and have a proper place to keep my blacksmith tools.

If we're talking a bit about vintage wood working gear, I might as well mention my old 1947 Shopsmith 10-E. http://i21.photobucket.com/alb.....b19f10.jpg A ridiculously versatile piece of equipment....Too bad it doesn't have a power hammer attachment.

I really like your overhead shelves, and need to do something similar to free up precious floor space.
