Good Morning,

The concave anvil is the bottom of an Oxygen (or whatever) cylinder. The gas company has done this to remove that cylinder from being reused again.

The round anvil is a piece of scrap plate, could be any shape. An anvil can and is any shape.

My $.02

Thanks! I'll call around to local steel scrappers to find something suitable. The concave anvil may have to be a custom job sometime in the distant future.

DavidAllen - If you're in the Puget Sound area, you should check out Interwest Metals (formerly Floyd's Equip.) in the tide flats in Tacoma. The have a scrap yard that you can walk around in and I've often seen large chunks of steel like what you're interested in.

as always

peace and love

The most important thing for decorating the shop is to decorate its front.
The different design and style on the front wall or door make the look of
the shop very attractive.

Dave there was a big dust up over the "It's Vegas" thread awhile back and someone got aggravated over it all - resulted in banning.
