Not a fault of the contents but a flaw in manufacture of the small bottle by worthington cylinder. I use mapp for copper pipe work where the extra btu's are needed and cheaper propane for everything else.

Thank you for posting this. If memory serves me, I have only one partly filled container on the shelf so getting rid if it won't be a financial hardship. Is there a breakdown of the codes on the bottom of the bottles somewhere so we can tell if the bottles on the store shelves were made after 2008 before buying them?

Thanks for the heads up. I'm currently using a bottle made in that era. It will get treated like glass until it's empty.
