Here's a little knife I am working on as of tonight. Been wanting to incorporate bamboo as a handle and this is the prototype. As is I am thinking it's a nice, quick and cheap way to put together a knife, throw on a bit of a turk's head knot or something for a little fancier look. I am thinking this would be a nice steak set with all bamboo handles.

Thanks Greg! It's a tight ass friction fit in the bamboo, but if I did one for sale i'd add some.

I'd not trade my Chuck Robinson anvil for anything, it is perfect for forging blades.

Very nice little knife. Turks head as a quasi-guard or at the 'pommel'? I think it would look good as a guard but you gotta worry about steak juices getting stuck in it.

Looks like that shirt is working for you. 😉

Thanks Lewis! I am thinking turk's head as a guard on the blade side. It could even be dipped or soaked in epoxy to make it more "juice proof" 🙂
