The amount of time you spent cleaning it up is admirable but doesn't increase function of anvil. Those edges could use some buildup with 11018 rod and ground back flat. Several folks on here are expert at that and would be glad to share some tips I'm sure. Now that you know it rings,figure out how to deaden sound so you don't have to buy expensive hearing aids like many of us do...
