Hello,

I am at the early stages of setting up a small personal forge for general smithing and later knives.

I want to get one of these tools cut, and getting 5 made brings the cost per unit to 125.00 this is without dies, just the frame which you will have to weld and build yourself.

If anyone is interested please let me know.

Best to all.

I'm a bit confused as to what you're asking here. . .

My Youtube channel: Cave of Skarzs

Just having some fun messing around with whatever I have a mind to do.

I believe Brent Christiansen sells the kits for much less.

IIRC, Brent will even weld it up for you for a little extra. His kits DO contain a die stock sample as well.

No matter where you go... there you are.

I think the die stock is 1/2" cold rolled. And yes a small fee and he will weld it up for you. I got mine as a learn to weld practice piece. All I got to do is go remember the name of the person who offered to teach me to weld and borrow a helmet, etc.

Oh and somehow find time....... Darryl Nelson said (and I misquote) "you don't blacksmith for a living, it's a life." At this point in time I find myself at times going weeks without a day off, Even then I am online and in books researching, or writing out lesson plans.

Cool Anne, I'll have to take you up on that offer and thank you. If I ever manage to get a day off again, 11 days straight, might be more. Hopefully day 12 will be off for a couple days next week.

I have 3 welding helmets, I can only see where I need one, plus a spare. I'll give the extra to anyone who wants it. Holler and I can bring it the 21st to longview.
