I bought this 6" machinist vise today. It has no makers mark or badge on it. The only thing unusual about it is the lock levers for the swivel base. Does anyone recognize this vise?

I figure it's a cheap import but I wonder if it's old enough to be from Taiwan instead of mainland China. Any ideas?

Looks like a copy of a Colombian (roughly) I dont know what it is but from the pic I would say its a better quality than many older imports if thats what it is.

This is off the topic but, Welcome back to the website Larry, we were just talking about you at the mentoring center yesterday.
I had one like it years ago. No clue where that vice is now unfortunately. It worked great for tinkering around for me and I used it to hold bow staves while draw knifing and rasping. Just bolted it down to the roof of the dog house and sat on the porch and went to town.
