If you're anywhere near Tacoma -
There is a gent in Tacoma that makes really nice gas forges(http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-LP.....SwajVUQU~Y),
You can find locally made hammers in Ballard and Portland(bridgetownforge, ballardforge.com)
You can find locally made tongs in Auburn(quickanddirtytools.com),
There are classes in Tacoma(Tacoma Metal Arts) and Seattle(Pratt).
I own one of Mike's forges and some of Andy's tongs and I'd recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately I don't own any hammers from the Pacific Northwest..... yet.
