All thinks considered, the £50000 to make the replica seems cheap if it was made the authentic way.

There a few wonderfull videos of anchors being made out there.

This one gets really interesting about 1/2 way in.

I seem to remember seeing another one will a team of strikers "at it" and they even start climbing onto the anchor at one point. Cant seem to find it again though

and just think those horses pulling the first anchor the wagon was not as good and the wheels did not run as smooth
