Anyone out there can tell me is this is a unique Budden anvil? Made in 1905, I believe. 150#.

Unique, nope. It's a farrier's anvil. Son had one and sold it several years after he got a larger anvil.

My son is the Blacksmith

The appendage sticking out on the off side of the anvil, round in shape, is called a clip horn... It is used for drawing clips on horse shoes. A clip is kind of a metal tab which, when hammered against the hoof of the horse, helps to keep the shoe from moving.. Really helps the nails to hold the shoe.
