Good evening/morning everyone! My name is Shawn Collins. I am a US Army soldier currently deployed in Afghanistan until early July. Currently, I am looking for either a Master Blacksmith who has experience with working with swords and the like, or someone willing too partake or attempt to make what I am looking for. When I tell you all what it is I am looking for, I ask that you not laugh or judge. I have always wanted something like this, and regardless of wether or not I will actually be able to use it, I still want to try.

I am looking for a sword, not just any sword though. The blade will need to be 5' long, and be 1 1/2' - 2' wide on one side (Circumfrence I suppose should be about 3'-4'). Hilt should be a simple rectangle black design that would block slippage from handle to sword. Handle should be small in circumfrance, but long, with a rounded or squared end.

The blade needs to be double edged. All portions of the blade should be of the same material. The blade needs to be able to stand up to mundane tasks such as chopping wood (Not that you should do that with a blade), but also possibly cleave a Bear.

Laugh if you will, but I have at least 10k$ to throw at this should anyone be willing to give it a try, or know someone who would.

Also if you want to back door it email me at Broly3k8@yahoo.com

We have several smiths that are more than capable but I would recommend you contact our own Dave Lisch... He is the master of damacus and can not only hook you up but blow your mind...

Whatever you are, be a good one.
