While not exactly local to you, you could try Alaska Copper and Brass Company in SE Portland. They seem to be much cheaper than the online markets. I'm not sure if they have minimum order quantities, as I've just gone in and pulled from their overstock selection. The sales staff isn't particularly friendly in my experience, but I've gotten the copper, brass, and aluminum I needed there.

Ive got a couple sticks of 1/4 x 1/2.
I think Alaskan Copper is probably the place to buy any quantity but for short chunks try Metal Supermarkets. There is one in Portland. If they dont have it they will order in a full stick to chop you off a bit.
