Amy,

Please know that I admire your efforts with this website on behalf of our Association. I know this time of transition must be difficult and frustrating for you.

Please know also that my multiple complaints are as specific as I can make them. I don't want to be a trouble-maker - I want to be a trouble-shooter.

Above all, pleas know that I am NOT complaining about you as a person or about the job you are doing. And please accept my heartfelt apology for any bad feelings I may be causing.

Very Sincerely,

Lee Cordochorea,

Thingmaker's Forge

No matter where you go... there you are.

Lee, I very much appreciate and accept your apology. I do understand as much as anybody how frustrating a website can be. I promise I am working toward making everything work. I am hoping that between various fixes and people getting use to the look of things, that most people will begin to feel better about the move. I thought the forum on the old site was fine, but the content management part was very poor. I tried to find a solution that would be integrated, rather than one program running the articles etc, and the other program running the forum... there are still bugs but I think it will get better.  I try not to take things too personally when people vent their frustrations, and I don't blame them. I will be paying close attention to the things people are frustrated with and try to change them. I did not do much last week as I was in the middle of putting the finishing touches on the next Hot Iron News, mailing in a couple of days.  I am forging onward and I will be paying close attention to people's complaints... and YES it is so much better if there is something specific. Like the wrong date/time on the forum, I got that fixed now. and the order of the posts from oldest to newest. I am listening and working hard to get it done.

Thank you Lee for taking the time to post your apology. You are a brave man willing to take the heat from the naysayers... and brave enough to tell me straight up and specifically what is wrong with the site.
