    That's about the size of my little hammer, maybe the next size lower the 20 pounder
    some people get 20 years of experience...other people get one year of experience 20 times...

    When I retire (ha like that will ever happen) I would love to build a small tabletop working power hammer. Make the patterns, have the castings made and machine things up and build the hammer.

    No it's belt drive but that even is equally adorable

  6. Castings are availabe for a couple of small steam hammers. The smaller
    Rigby from Stuart of England would be only be big enough as a nut cracker. The larger black Phoenix hammer hits fairly hard.
    Just finished an electric hammer but think it will be used mostly for veining or something like that. gary
