Another LG 50 Returns to Service

My Little Giant 50 pound hammer is finally complete and doing service in my shop. Still need to build a brake and a safety shield, but K4859 is working everyday. It runs smooth, cool, and hits nice and hard. Thanks, again, to Larry L. for all his help.

That's a nice looking hammer there Mike! Glad you've got it running! Hmmm, now I need to throw a paintjob on my 25 lb LG ... that would make it look much nicer! ...

    That looks great.
I seem to recall seeing somewhere little giant springs with a piece of heavy rubber hose (semi truck radiator hose?) that fit snugly over them in leu of an ugly guard system. Just to keep spring bits from flying at you in the event of breakage.
