ok I got a peice of steel given to me we call a wind fall but it measures
2 1/4" thick X 17 3/4" wide 42" long I thought of making a anvel from it or an streighting table I will have to make a stand and make moble so I can move it around a bit, got any thoughts what it can or would be ?

Little narrow but it sounds like a nice bench top to me.
Be a fine anvil on edge, or almost any way you put it.

That would definitely make a nice work bench! Need some mighty hefty rollers to roll it around though wouldn't ya?
