    NORTHWEST BLACKSMITH PUBLIC ART MAP

I'm building a Google Map of publicly accessible blacksmith's work in the northwest. The idea is to have it on the NWBA site for folks who may be visiting or just want to see examples of the blacksmith's art in the area.
The criteria I've set for inclusion on the map is, 1) located in the NW (NWBA ish area) and 2) forged or at least hot formed. (I'm trying to avoiding pure fab work until the screaming is too loud.)
Do you have or know of any work you would like added to the map? If so please provide the title or description, location address, and any additional details you'd like known. A picture is always good too! I include a web address too if you like.
    Information needed:
    1) Title of work or description
    2) Photo of the completed work on location (or link to photo)
    3) link to your website if available
    4) link to additional photos/information if available

    5)Address of work installation

The map is in development and currently private. At the present it is not discoverable unless you have the URL:
http://tinyurl.com/NWsmithart When it is more fully populated I will make it public, which will allow it to be found by internet search.

A work in progress, comments and suggestions are welcome.
    Thanks,
    Jeff Wilson

    thanks young man

Anyone care to add to the map?

Ryan, Did you say the P.T. hospital has some of Russell’s work? Try to get the particulars so it can be mapped please.

Please peruse the map. Mr. Ries is well represented.
Grant, forge something and plant it in your front yard, or an unsuspecting neighbor's. We'll put it on the map.

RE: Eric Please get what you can. I've contacted David and he is interested, but their computer service is kapoot. I know of the Marker of Origin and the Broadway Plaza four Seasons collaborations. Need good location directions and pictures for those. I also know that he has much more work out there, but that is not a region I travel to. Any help in that area is appreciated.

The Map is "Public" now. This means it can be found by an INTERNET search. The locations currently listed are just a small percentage of what is available for public viewing. If you know of work that is not on the map, please help by sending me the title, description, blacksmith's name and location of the work. Let's make this the "GO TO" resource to find blacksmith works in the Northwest.

    Rehosting Photos

We are in the process of rehosting the photos from various sources to the Gallery here. Rehosting and linking will take some time.

    Thanks for your patience.
