Just to let everyone know, Hammered at Moonys is on again this October 29th 30th and 31st at Moonys place in Braidwood (Southern Highlands) NSW Australia. Beer food forging hammers (7cwt Massey and others) camping, a really good weekend. Yes we do welcome international visitors. I looked up where Braidwood Australia is because my Austarlian geography is not that good . Just for fun I asked for directions from here. It gave me directions by car and KAYAK, 56 days 5 hours through Hawaii and Japan. Guess I had better leave tomorrow so I can have a couple days rest before the hammer in.

Braidwood is hard enough for us to find and we live in Oz, just a little place, east of Canberra. It's 2 claims to fame are that Moony lives there, and it was the town featured in a movie called "The year my voice broke".

I love smithing road trips. You miss one and it's kind of like a good clam tide...you can't make it up. Unfortunately, she-who-writes-the-checks has a hard time reconciling those trips.
