Monster Metal warehouse fire, October 20, 2015

Longtime NWBA member Larry Langdon’s shop Monster Metal in Auburn Washington, which houses Quick and Dirty Tool Company,  burned in a raging fire on October 20, 2015.  The two alarm fire was put out after firefighters from several local departments spent hours battling the unruly blaze Tuesday evening.

Thankfully no one was hurt, Larry and his dog made it out safely and no one else was in the building.  Unfortunately, the damage is very extensive, tools, equipment, and the building are just a few of the tangible losses.  Monster Metal will be needing to regroup and rebuild to get back into production.  Andy Blakney, also a longtime NWBA member, has been working with Larry. It is uncertain when they will be back in business.   This is such a horrible thing to happen to wonderful people, and an amazing business.

A fund has been established for your donations to contribute to the rebuilding.  Please consider donating to help this fantastic local business rebuild and over come this tragic loss.  Go to the GoFundMe Donate Page
