Welcome to our new board members; Anne Bujold, Lee Cordochorea, Lynn Gledhill, Scott Rash, and Richard Tinder, all elected to a two year term, 2014-16. The board now consists of the following members: Bill Apple, Anne Bujold, Lee Cordochorea, Brent Christiansen, Lynn Gledhill, Jay McGowan, Dean Mook, Scott Rash, and Richard Tinder.
First on the agenda of the January 25th NWBA board meeting was the election of board officers.
President: Bill Apple, though still on the board for another year, stepped down as president. Lynn Gledhill was voted in as our new NWBA president.
Vice-President: Bruce Crittenden stepped down from his position as vice-president, and is no longer serving on the board. Lee Cordochorea is the new vice-president.
Secretary: Brent Christiansen was voted in to continue to serve another year as secretary. Bruce Weakly was Secretary for part of 2012 and the first half of 2013, and Brent took over mid-year when Bruce stepped down from serving due to a family emergency.
Treasurer: Darryl Nelson stepped down from his position as treasurer. Scott Rash was voted to serve as our new treasurer, with Darryl Nelson assisting with our outreach fund management and mentoring Scott while he learns about his job. It was first voted to create an outreach fund management position to make the main treasurer’s job more manageable.
