Forge Building: Theory & Practice
Silas will be discussing different Gas Forge and Blower designs. This will include naturally aspirated (venturi) and forced air blowers, forge design and construction techniques, and a discussion of commonly available refractories and their applications.
Demonstration in the morning followed by open forge.
4th Saturday of the Month
9:00 AM: Demonstration
Noon: Break for Lunch
1:00 PM: Open forge until ~4 PM
Cost: $10
Attendees must be current NWBA members due to insurance requirements.
