Supplying Only The World's Finest Blacksmith's Tools

Visit our New and Updated Websites!!

We are Kayne & Son Custom Forged Hardware and we are Blacksmiths Depot. Steve and David Kayne along with Dennis Hunter spend their days where they love; in the forge shop. Our shop is 7000 sq feet and houses basically 2 coal forges, an induction forge, gas forge, fly press and big boy screw press, a 50 ton Hydraulic press, a  and 2 Phoenix Hammers. We custom forge builders and household hardware in steel and bronze. Presently we are not operating our our brass and bronze casting foundry). We work for individuals, high end builders and architects.

Our business started in the 1960's as Kayne & Son Blacksmithing and many of our clients return to us year after year. Getting our customers to communicate their desires is the most difficult part of our work. We strive to exceed their expectations.

We do double duty as Blacksmiths Depot. In our early years blacksmith tools were hard to find. As we found sources, we made them available to other smiths. This soon grew into a business of it's own. We are proud to be carrying on Grant Sarvers Legacy.  Off Center Products are being produced in our shop in Western North Carolina, Proudly Made in the U.S.A., We also carry tools and equipment from the worlds finest suppliers. We pride ourselves on only supplying the best.

Steve's wife Shirley and David's wife Cathy take care of customers phone calls, emails and records. David's boys Jonathan and Eli are learning the business.

We also have a broad line of square head fasteners and other hardware.
