ABANA 2014 Conference planning is well under way.
Location: Delaware State Fairgrounds, Harrington, Delaware
Dates: August 13-16, 2014
Theme: “Joinery: Come Make Connections”

We have a Poster/Tee Shirt Design:
We’re planning a Eastern Shore Dinner for Saturday: Chicken BBQ and Crab Cakes
We are in the midst of planning all the details and finding Demonstrators. In addition to the featured demonstrators we’ll have all the things that attendee’s have come to expect at the Conference: Iron-In-The-Hat, Vendors, Tail-Gating, Seminars, a Gallery of Iron Work, Family Programs, A Membership and Board Meeting where you can participate in what ABANA is doing and where it’s going.
One thing that can make this Conference better is:

David Hutchison and myself will do the best we can to plan a conference that we fell will meet your needs but you can make this task easier by telling us what you want.
What Blacksmith would you like to see demonstrate?

What have you not seen at a conference that you’d like to see?
What (if anything) should we eliminate from the Conference?
You get the idea. Please take a minute and give us your thoughts and ideas. We’ll continue to plan the Conference and try to incorporate your ideas as we receive them. We can’t promise we’ll do everything you ask, but we’ll do our best to do as much as we can.
