Workshop : Forging Sculptural Forms – Dorothy Stiegler
Pratt welcomes Master Blacksmith Dorothy Stiegler for a one day intensive workshop. Dorothy is a world renowned artist blacksmith and is the featured demonstrator for the Northwest Blacksmiths Association conference this year. Pratt is honored to give our community the opportunity to spend a day forging with this talented woman. Explore the use of traditional forging techniques and apply them to develop a better understanding of how to transform steel and bronze into sculptural forms. This class is open to blacksmithing students of all levels.
