Maker’s Business Symposium – sponsored by CMAG

The Creative Metal Arts Guild (CMAG) of Portland is pleased to announce its first annual Maker’s Business Symposium, a two day conference on the business of art, being held at the Multnomah Arts Center on March 23-24, 2019.

While the presenters are primarily metal artists, almost all programming will be useful no matter what an artist’s medium or where they are in their arts career journey. This event will provide programming on everything from using social media in support of your business and marketing to selling at craft shows and closing on sales.

While attendees do not have to be a CMAG guild member to attend, if they are a member of any of the Portland area guilds involved in the annual Gathering of the Guilds (held at the Oregon Convention Center, April 26-28th), they receive guild member rates.
