Join us for an Open Forge + Damascus Forging Project at the Mentoring Center on Saturday, September 16th from 9am to 4pm!
During this Open Forge, one of the forges will be dedicated to making damascus for a trade project with Bridge City Steel. They offered the steel plate for an NWBA sign we’re making for the Mentoring Center, and to show our appreciation we’ll be making a damascus blade with group help and input.
NWBA Members are welcome to bring a project to work on or to hammer on a new project using materials that we have on hand at the MC, but precedence will be given to the damascus project.
Open Forges are held at the NWBA Mentoring Center, which is located on the grounds of the Cowlitz County Events Center in Longview, WA.
Remember $20 for entry in support of the MC!
